Welcome to Animal Whispers Chinchilla and Exotic Rescue located in Central NJ. Our goal is to help those special furry critters who are high maintenance get the care they need in our rescue until a well screened home is approved. Unfortunately most pet store workers are not educated on proper care and only know what they have learned from the store. We understand its hard to believe but most pet stores are all about money and not usually the best care for the pet. They misinform customers and pet owners constantly which usually brings injuries, sickness, fatalities, heart break and not to mention large vet bills. On top of that they do not screen anyone which means anyone with money can purchase a pet regardless of the cares or education for it. When you purchase an animal from a pet store you are supporting back yard breeders, non humane policies, and animal abusers who can simply go back and buy another animal after they dispose of the first one. Please educate yourself before choosing a pet and always adopt before you shop!!
